The easiest way to insert audio or video when building web sites
Filed Under Social Bookmarking Software | Leave a Comment
Over the last few years audio and video have become increasingly popular features on web sites. Both types of media, audio and video, can bring a website alive and give it that extra something that will appeal to visitors.
Unfortunately inserting multimedia isn’t always that easy and can be a bit fiddly, particularly for people who are new to building web sites.
Luckily, there is one web site design tool that takes away all the difficulty and makes it a quick and easy task. That software is called XSitePro. I’ve not come across any website design software, or other software, that makes it so incredibly simple to add an audio file or a video.
Both types of media are inserted using what are known as XSitePro wizards. The Audio Wizard takes pretty much every format of audio file you will come across (MP3, etc) and the Video Wizard takes most standard video files (AVI, etc) and converts them into a format and size that is appropriate for streaming across the web.
These two wizards are ideal for beginners as they make the process very straight forward and take away all the complexity that you would otherwise have to struggle through, but they’re not just useful aids for beginners or newcomers to web site design.
Power users can also benefit hugely from the Audio and Video Wizards, as they save a considerable amount of time. Instead of having to use separate utilities to convert the audio files or video files into the right format, and then another tool for generating the code, or writing it yourself, and then yet another tool for uploading the files, it is all done using the same tool.
So, if you’ve struggled with adding audio and video to your sites, or have avoided making use of multimedia when building your websites because your worried it is beyond your abilities, now you have no excuse.

Gone are the days where learning to read and write was compulsory to acquiring knowledge; not anymore because of the technology of audio books. Also, for those who don’t like reading novels and other fun books, audio books now help them to still enjoy such books with ease.
More people now prefer to buy audio books instead of physical hardcover books because of the extreme comfort they derive from listening. It’s now very difficult to find popular book titles that don’t have both the physical book format and the audio book format.
The fact that an audio book and a physical book would contain the same information makes it a lot wiser to “listen” to a book while driving daily than to allocate blocks of time to read that same book in normal book format. Not just saving extra time, one can now gain lots of knowledge with the advantage that audio books bring.
No wonder that kids, the middle aged and even the old folks prefer books that come in audio book formats than the normal physical format. Hardcover and paperback books are more expensive to produce than normal books; that’s one of the reasons why they are increasingly becoming more popular — from the perspective of publishers as well as from the perspective of readers.
With audio books, nature can be conserved as more trees will be saved as against hardcover and paperbacks that lead to lots of trees being cut down and used. Household chores can now be done with ease, especially when a very interesting audio book is playing in the distance
Light or not, audio books can be listened to, unlike normal paperback or hardcover that can’t be read during the dark. As you can see above, not only will you be the one to benefit from audio books, even your kids and spouse, family and friends will too — so get started and shop for your own favorite book titles in audio book format.
