How to sell what you know through the internet

I make at least eight videos like the one above a week that I either sell or giveaway to help business owners and their teams get the best out of my low cost alternative to small business accounting software such as Quickbooks or Peachtree or Sage (the video above took me one hour to make). Here is a really quick way of selling what you know online to potentially thousands of people worldwide and start supplementing your income. The most profitable approach is to design and develop your own product then all of the margin you make will be yours to spend on doing more (and I recommend you do).

Take a closer look at YouTube and you will see that it is incredibly easy to upload a video and make it available for millions of people worldwide to watch and it is here I want to start with showing you how to sell your knowledge. The first thing I want to share with you is a technique called storyboarding as it helps to create the essential structure and format for how you will share your knowledge with your audience. As opposed to using pen and paper I generally like to use software slide making tools like Microsoft powerpoint or Apple Keynote as they are really easy to put interesting content into and you can use the output in your video. You do not have to incur any expense what so ever to create a storyboard, produce a professional quality video and get your work online, in front of your target market and start selling it.

I have been creating my videos in Podcast, YouTube and downloadable video format for over two years now using a really fantastic tool called Camtasia Studio which is developed by TechSmith a US company, whatever you do watch all of the tutorials before downloading the thirty day fully functional trial. I would wait until you are absolutely satisfied your storyboard is ready and you are one hundred percent familiar with the TechSmith tutorials befor downloading the trial as you want to get the maximum use of the free functionality.
